This guide is focused around deployed servers with DirectAdmin's new skin "Evolution"
DirectAdmin has the ability to create "Reseller" accounts – these reseller accounts provide the ability for a user to create additional users and domains under their ownership, separate from the rest of the server (in terms of account ownership). This is perfect for anyone who wants to maintain their own list of websites/domains!
In this guide we will be going over the steps taken to create a reseller under the default admin
user in DirectAdmin. DirectAdmin can be a little daunting at first – however, we hope these guides help take out some of the uncertainty regarding DirectAdmin and make it easier for you, the user, to use.
As always, if you ever require assistance – please reach out to us.
One of the first things that we will want to do is login to your DirectAdmin panel. Access to this panel is typically always going to be accessed over port 2222
Your URL should look like this: http://xxx.xx.xxx.xx:2222
(where x is your IP address numbers)
Once you've loaded that address, you should see this login screen:
You'll want to enter your admin
username and the password provided to you via your Welcome Email.
Now that you're logged in you'll want to go to Account Manager → Create Reseller

You may get the following warning if you don't have any packages created:
If no packages are created, then you'll be able to proceed to the actual user creation. Otherwise, we'll need to create a package.
Click "Create Reseller Package" to be taken to the setup page for your packages.
This section allows you to specify all the configurations for resources for users that use this package.
Once you've configured your package to your liking, click "Create".
Now you can go back to Account Manager → Create Reseller
to setup your new account. Click "Create Reseller", you'll then see the following page.
This allows us to configure the Reseller username, email, password and domain.
Once you've set it to your liking; click "Create". You will get a confirmation window.
Your Reseller is now created and can be dropped into via the admin
user or logged into via the DirectAdmin panel like any other user.
We hope this guide has been straight-forward and helpful.
