CA to WA Datacenter Migration

KH,

Welcome To Seattle....

Hope Your Servers are Rain proof :)

We live so close that that if I started walking then I
could reach the DC within 30min (where-ever it maybe)

I bet you see excellent response times to your VPS then ;)

I hope to be rock'n with you soon...
and to be honest, its not important for me to reach you the fastest,
it is how fast my clients can reach the vps, no matter where they are...
that is most important....

In that case TX will be the best mix for you assuming most of your clientèle is US-based. If Asia is your niche then WA is the way to go and if Europe is your thing then MD is the way to go.

For the most part US....
Ok, Why would TX be the better one to go for?

@JimS

Because it's more central to the overall US so naturally more people will have lower pings to it than say a WA VPS with people from the East coast connecting.

Right...
I will have to get out the day planner..
it will be a much longer walk to texas...
:)

Thanks for the heads up.
Texas bound....

So do I..
The Migration take place on Oct 18, 2013
Today its 28 august, 2014 almost a year later still no sign for the SSD

You didn't hear? They've shifted focus and instead are constructing a new facility on the surface of the moon. Space-based SSD hardware is all the rage now. I hear the connectivity will be ungodly.

I kid, I kid. :p
