Getting started (need beginners VPS help)

Hello, I made the decision to get a VPS because I had several websites as well as having the need to run a mumble/murmer server. I've never run a VPS before. I purchased a VPS with cpanel/WHM I was wondering if there was a walkthrough or maybe some recommended reading for a VPS newbie. CPanel/WHM is a bit overwhelming at first and I'm just trying to get my websites set up...lol.

I would welcome any tips, links and/or advice.

p.s. I do have experience with linux and actually have a linux box sitting here in my house.

There are several resources out there the most prominent would be the official cPanel/WHM user guides which contain getting started documentation.
