Should Knownhost Offer Windows VPSes?

I found myself needing a Windows VPS and signed up to an provider who will go unnamed only to be yearning the great support of KH.

Any plans of KH releasing Windows VPSes?

It would be great. :)

I would like to give a vote to this suggestion.

I have some clients that needs to host ASP .NET + MSSQL applications but i can't offer this since i can't find a reliable windows vps provider.
 
No promises on this in the immediate future. We would rather set the proper expectation. If things change we will update you asap.

I've always thought of KH as the linux VPS specialists. Besides, what REAL use is windows? I have always been curious why so many people REQUIRE windows servers or VPS's, other than RDP?

KH are linux specialists but that doesn't mean they cant spread their wings to accommodate another VPS market - there aren't that many quality windows vps providers and KH can fill that gap. My 2 cents.
 
You never know.. We don't have it in our plans but if the demand becomes more apparent things could change quick.

To have the choice would be a nice thing, but I would not want it (choice) at the expense of reduced quality/performance/support on the side that made the company what it is today. This is meant as more of a potential business issue rather than a technical one. KH has shown good business judgement thus far so I'm hopeful that will continue.
 
We would only offer Windows VPS's if we knew we can deliver the same level of service, etc as we do now with our Linux VPS's. That is the main thing we need to address internally.

That would be nice to have Windows VPS hosting, while I could not afford it right now, I would be sure ti buy it ASAP if they offered it, especially if they had Shared Windows hosting :)
 
There was a time I needed one...It'd definitely make my life easier in the future if I ever need another one instead of managing servers from two different hosts.
 
Yeah, its the same image 95% of Virtuozzo hosts use. I will pass this to the right group internally.
