VPS upgraded to more than 4GB of RAM, but kernel still i686?

Greetings to all and Merry Christmas,

how come upgraded SSD VPS that now has more than 4GB of RAM still has i686 kernel, and not x64? Is this PAE enabled kernel or you are using some other patch?

A single process can't address all that memory, however the VPS can use all of the memory.
