    One of my programmers was trying to access our ftp account and had the wrong username so the system banned him. How do I un-ban him?

    Here is the message I received via email:

    The remote system xx.xx.xx.xx was found to have exceeded acceptable login failures on; there was 16 events to the service pure-ftpd. As such the attacking host has been banned from further accessing this system. For the integrity of your host you should investigate this event as soon as possible.

    Executed ban command:
    /etc/apf/apf -d {bfd.pure-ftpd}

    Edit /etc/apf/deny_hosts.rules and remove the IP address. Be sure to restart APF afterward.
