Upgrading cPanel fro 11.38.2.7 to 11.40.0.7

Scanning through my cPanel options this morning, I noticed the 'Upgrade to latest version' option in the cPanel section. The 'Change log feed for all versions' link off the 'Change log' option in that same section indicates a substantial update (in terms of change log items) at 11.40.0.2.

Seems like I should update to 11.40.0.7 to get all those juicy fixes. Am I OK to just click the upgrade button, or is there some amount of prep I should perform or impacts I should know about beforehand?
 
Never mind...I can see from my Update Preferences that I have 'Stable' selected, which is 11.38.2.12 (seems to have updated since my post. 11.40 is 'Edge', hence no update for me.
