B bozboz New Member Oct 24, 2008 #1 Hi, I am sure this is a character settings problem but one of my sites uses a £ symbol as a delimiter. After uploading it all of the £ symbols in my php files are preceded by a "Â". Any £ symbols in html files are fine? Anyone have any ideas?

B bozboz New Member Oct 24, 2008 #2 Seems to be a problem to do with utf-8 and iso-8859-1. When I try to edit the files using utf-8 all is ok. When I edit the files using iso-8859-1 the £ are displayed as £
