Not a suggestion but a question.

I just read somewhere that Cent OS 5 came out.
How do you as a host decide when to upgrade the OS?
By the length of time for others to use it?
    Release dates?
    How much time you have?

We'll start rolling out CentOS 5 as soon as it will be fully supported by virtualization technology and all control panels we offer (DirectAdmin, Plesk and cPanel). After that we'll run series of internal tests to make sure that system does work with expected stability and that our provisioning automation is capable to create and manage VPSs based on this OS.

    Regards,
    Paul

Wow, sounds like a lot goes into it before you put it out for customers.

Me, as far as I know, I dont know that much about servers so which OS is on the system doesn't matter to me.
