No New Server setup on weekends?

Hello,

It has been several hours since I made my payment, and while I am aware that it can sometimes take up to 24 hours to set up a brand new VPS, it also states that it normally doesn't take more than a few hours.

I made a support ticket to inquire on the status of my server, and was told it was forwarded to Sales, which if I'm not mistaken is closed on weekends. Does Sales set up my server, and if so, does this mean I have to wait until Monday morning?

Please advise.

Sales is closed indeed during weekends, but they do regularly check their tickets and process the pending orders. My VPS was ordered during the weekend as well and it was set up in about 4 hours.
 
Hello Luxed, How much time has it then taken for set up of server
Actually am also planning to take it on weekend - if the response was delayed may be i may shift to take it for Monday

May the support team of Knownhost may confirm this
Also - do you guys have php 5.3 as the default version in the server set up !!

Even on weekends, setups are generally within a couple of hours.

5.3 is installed by default with cPanel.
