Migrating from VPS to Dedicated, any special advice?

I'm migrating. Will dedicated solved my problems? I know it won't.

I'm tired of slow site. I'm expecting increased of users.
Anything I should tell knownhost to do while building my server?

--Site is mostly dynamic contents. Joomla CMS
--Users are from western US, Europe, Eastern Russia. So different time zones.

--I need fast server response time and fast pageload.
--of course another cloudflare guy.

I'm switching to dedicated 1 It seems to be a desktop not real server.
Any advice would help a newbie.
Everyone is talking about Litespeed and Nginx
