Managed SSD VPS - How fast is your site?

Can someone share with me a site they have hosted on SSD VPS hosting? I am curious how fast it loads.

Here's a client's site of mine on a KH SSD VPS, pingdom says it loads in half a second. This is a customized server that serves both PHP and CF code so I actually expected it to be a bit slower. The site is database intense so the SSD certainly helps this site.

But there's nothing there. Just a splash page. He needs a site with content to be able test page load speeds/times.
