When I told my previous host that I was moving one of my accounts to another provider and not using their VPS, he was disappointed. I pointed out that the KH plan would give me a little more ram and FAR more storage for about the same price. His reply was. "I'll bet their storage isn't locally attached SSD drives like ours."
Now I know you guys use RAID-10 drives, so no, they are not SSD. But I wondered what he meant by "locally attached". Does he mean files are elsewhere in the datacenter? Or does he mean file storage might be in the cloud?
Where are my files stored on my KnownHost VPS accounts and how are they attached to the computer?
