@phpAddict requested a few pictures of the new office which we're almost done remodeling so here they are :)

These are mostly of the demo and start of new stuff. I've got more that I'll get uploaded soon of closer to it's current state of near-completion.

Demo work is always fun

About 4 huge boxes like this plus some of old low voltage cabling came out.

I like the Chik-Fil-A cup best so far. :D I took a look at the building on Google maps, are you leasing that whole building? The area looks nice. Seems further away from the hustle and bustle of Birmingham.

Ok these are still a bit behind current, but here's some new(er) ones quite a bit farther along in the renovation.

About 20% of the cable coming into our office rack.

Same 20% being neatened up quite a bit.

Looks much nicer, don't you think? Lots more cable to go.

~31 punched down, ~90 to go.

I think this is my favorite picture so far. Definitely a "whoops" moment.

And just for fun, here's a random Birmingham case of car vs. AT&T C.O. box. (That's the new office in the background).

We are successfully moved and for the first time in 3 years our old office which we staffed 24/7 365 days a year sits idle with no network gear humming, lights buzzing, or techs supporting.

It took about 3 hours to move support operations from old to new with 0 interruption to customer support by moving techs in waves. To move virtually the entire office took about 8-10 hours with great teamwork from our entire staff to make it possible.

Pics and hopefully some cool time-lapses will be up in the coming days. We still have lots to do, organize, and move around the new office to finish getting settled.

That is quite a feat! Kudos to KH for thinking of the customer first even during such a difficult process! :D

If I remember correctly it wasn't too long after HG moved to a newer bigger site that they became a part of EIG. Hope that doesn't happen here.
