htpasswd Issues

So, this is the first time that I have tried to use the htpasswd command but I am getting errors that the command is not found. I found the executable, however I can not use it as the Apache documentation indicates. Most of the issues that I have found from online searches are that someone is not logged in to the root user or permissions aren't set, none of which apply here. Does the community have any words of advice that might point me in the right direction?

Hi AKDan,

So since you found the file I assume that means you either use the full path or that you change to the directory it's in (/usr/local/apache/bin). I was able to list the help for it but without knowing what it is you're trying to do I'm not going to be able to help much

I would also caution against changing user's passwords in this manner too as doing it direct like that could possibly break something in cPanel. It might be ok but sometimes you just never know.
