FTP Headache

I started to contact support but thought others might be having the same issue and would benefit from answers here.

Since the latest WHM/Cpanel update, I am having problems connecting via ftp but it is very random. It will connect, disconnect, refuse to connect at all and I can't seem to locate the problem. It doesn't matter which FTP utility I use, I get the same results.

I have had the same problem as well, suprised me when I seen all the BruteForce emails

I tried changing it to the user@domain and that worked and have not had an issue since

Is everyone still having this problem? I thought it was just me! I tried the email thing and it starts to connect but hangs when waiting for welcome message.
