First Time on WHM. NameServer Question

Hello Knownhost,

I am a new client of KnownHost. I tried WHM today. I was prompted to set up something.

It says: We recommend you do not enable the nameserver unless you are going to use it. If you wish to disable the nameserver you can always turn it off in the Service Manager

There was a question whether I should enable nameserver. It was recommended I should NOT enable but I did enable it (just curious). So, what's the right thing to do? Enable or Disable Nameserver? Where will I disable it? It's my first time here and I am just testing how things work.

On my VPS, I will be running my sites alone. As of this time, I have no plan to rent to others a space in my VPS.

Please advise. Thank you.

Hello mike and welcome to KH :)

I'm not sure why they recommend you not enable it as that, so far as I know, is what it's for.

Here's a prior post on configuring nameservers. It can be a little involved but just take it one step at a time and you'll be fine.
