Firewall/security on "semi-managed"?

hello, could you please explain how security works on a semi-managed VPS. Who is responsible for maintaining a firewall, etc? Thank you.
 
You have full root on the VPS, which means you have the ability to manage access to your server with iptables. Of course, if you want to, I'm sure you could ask KnownHost to configure it for you if you're uncertain of how to do it or inexperienced with iptables.
