Email all members at once?

I have about 5000 members I need to send a service update to via email. It's a one time mailing so not a mailing list opt/in out issue.

My previous host had hourly outgoing email restritions (it was shared hosting) but I've heard that VPS doesn't have hourly restrictions.

Unfortunatly my software doesn't have any sort of seperating options for the email. I can either email one at a time or all of them. Can I send out one mass email to all 5000?
 
Hello kapearl,

The VPS should be configured to send out so many at a time by default and I would say that it certainly wouldn't hurt to try.

I don't know if your email client will send that many at one time though lol that is quite a few!
