Change subdomain to Primary acct & vice versa

Anyone know how, if its possible, to do the following:

I have a client that has registered the name 'asubdomain.com' which he now wants to be the primary account. Of course he has a cms running under both the subdomain and the primary. So I need to take:

asubdomain.mydomain.com

and somehow make the changes in WHM to

mydomain.asubdomain.com

The end result being 'asubdomain.com' becomes the primary account.

The only way I know is to create a new account for the new domain and then the client will have to move his content (unless you do it for them of course). Backup and restore obviously won't work due to the sub to domain change.

Bit of a hassle that...
 
Just noticed you're a stones throw away from my oldest kids; they're in Seattle and I spent some time at Fort Lewis. Been living in Santa Fe, NM for the last 35years.

Anyway, guess I'll have to break the news to my client that he's got some work to do.
