    Should I be running my own antivirus such as ClamAV on my VPS?

    Do you have a windows VPS?? If not theres no need.

    ClamAV can certainly help in containing infected emails on your POP3 accounts. I was getting bombarded with emails with virus attachments some months back, and I enabled ClamAV. Since then no worries.
