I've been contemplating it for a while tbh, only ever heard good things about KH. I'm currently running a forum Invision Power Suite V4 which has just soft launched. On the current host HG, I've not been overly impressed with the package cost and service (my last ticket took 12 days to get a response).
That was the straw that broke the camels back (for me).
Anyway, I've took the step of SSD3 and I'll be running a test install of the database once the account is all setup and will be looking to get it optimised as much as possible. What assistance is available (if needed) to get it optimised as much as possible? At the moment page loads are fairly slow (up to 14 seconds for access to the forum, then 7/10 secs for topics).
When we do decide to make the full transfer, we'll be looking to change the domain for the account rather than have it as an add on domain, is that possible?
