How to add Sub Domains in cPanel?

With cPanel you get an easy-to-use option through which you can create multiple sub-domains with the hosted domain. That’s why with this guide we’ll help you know How to add Sub Domains in cPanel and hope that it becomes a familiar process for you.

A subdomain is typically used for creating areas of your website that can be easily identified or accessed through a specific term such,, etc. These can be useful for keeping site systems separate from the primary website while showing structure to the overall URL.

Creating Subdomain

1. Log in to cPanel using Username Password. i.e; ( or

2. Navigate to Domains → Subdomains.


3. Enter the necessary information in the fields,

Subdomain: Enter the name of the subdomain.

Domain: Select domain from the dropdown for which you would like to create a subdomain.

Document Root: Once you enter the subdomain name, cPanel automatically specifies the document root for the subdomain. Also, you can configure the custom document root for the new addon domain.


4. Now, finalize the addition of the domain name → click on “Create“.


Removing Subdomain

1. Log in to cPanel using Username Password. i.e; ( or

2. Navigate to Domains → Subdomains.


3. In the “Modify a Subdomain“, you can find all the created Sub Domains.

4. Navigate to a specific subdomain → Click on “Remove“.

5. On the confirmation screen again, click on “Delete Sub Domain“.
