Have they (cpanel) jumped the shark ?!? lol I'm moving to DA and hope for the best. I'm just so use to cpanel and how it operated, been using cp for over 15 years.
Be watching this development closely. I think there is another announcement coming tomorrow (Friday) from cpanel. Not holding out hope for any good news from them.
I have setup a AWS S3 account to store my cpanel backups and have the backups removed from my server. i've never had an issue with space related to backups being generated.
Alright made the switch to the MVPS-2 this morning. So far things seems a bit more responsive. I did notice that the server loads percentages are a little higher after the switch over. I'm assuming that's because the load is more concentrated to two full cores and not the percentage of the 16...
KH seems to be starving the middle options. Either get a deal at the bottom end or spend more at the top. I see all the reasoning, and SSD is a little more expensive than spinning HDD.
@German I'm with you. I have a vps 4 looking to move to the MVPS 2 but I'll be squeezed even more on disk space and they have removed the quarterly option for payments. Seems there are less options with new KH. Just need to keep cost down, and it's getting harder to do. I guess I'm staying put...
@Melons don't let the virtual door hit on the way out. I would never be upset because someone wants to verify passwords for logins etc. KH has been nothing but fast and efficient whenever I've had to deal with them.
I've been using SSLs.com for several years, great prices. The higher prices certs come with insurance, green bar in browser and they have better browser support (whatever that means). I'm no SSL cert expert.
Thanks @KH-Jonathan for the respond. I have some resellers on my VPS and I don't want to do anything that will break CMS/Forums that might be on some of these resellers accounts.
